In this talk, free and open to all, Verlyn Klinkenborg asks how we find the sources of our ownwriting. What kind of writing will each one of us excel at? How do we discover our desire as writers? How can we become aware of the topics, subjects, situations that make us write well? Klinkenborg will explore these questions by drawing on his own experience as a writer and a farmer passionate about nature and the environment. All members of the Duke community — undergraduates as well as graduate students — are welcome!
